KDWO is a personal weather station, not a government agency. The Dallas Weather Observation Field is not part of, endorsed by, or connected to the National Weather Service, NOAA, or any government office.
Weather data on this site comes from consumer weather equipment and may be wrong, delayed or missing. KDWO alerts are unofficial. Always follow the National Weather Service and local officials, and never base safety decisions on this site alone.

Forecasts, warnings, radar and icons shown here come from the National Weather Service and NOAA. Traffic cameras come from TxDOT and FOX 4. Those belong to their owners.
Privacy
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email (if you add it) and message are saved on the KDWO station computer so Bruce can read and answer them. They are never sold or shared.
- Server logs: like every website, the server keeps basic logs (IP address, page, time) to keep the site running and safe. They are not used to track you.
- Your browser: a few pages remember small settings on your own device, like which camera view you picked. Nothing is sent to us.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, no selling data.
Other services this site loads
To show maps, radar and forecasts, your browser loads files from these services, which have their own privacy policies: National Weather Service (api.weather.gov, radar.weather.gov), NOAA, CARTO and OpenStreetMap map tiles, Iowa Environmental Mesonet, Cloudflare, cdnjs, and on the webcam page FOX 4 / WetMet cameras and jsDelivr.
